These Terms explain the rules for using Applai, including AI-generated content, application automation, paid services, and your responsibilities when using the platform.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Applai.

2. What Applai Does

Applai is a candidate-side job-search and application platform.

Features may include:

• job discovery
• job-posting analysis
• resume and CV tailoring
• application tracking
• AI-assisted application content
• saved application information
• automated or assisted application submission
• job-search guidance

Applai is actively developed, and available features may change over time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to use Applai.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information
• protecting access to your account
• keeping authentication credentials secure
• activity performed through your account
• informing us if you believe your account has been compromised

You must not use another person's account without permission.

5. Your Information

You remain responsible for information you provide through Applai.

This includes:

• employment history
• education
• qualifications
• skills
• professional achievements
• application answers
• work authorization information
• other information submitted as part of a job application

Applai is intended to help present your actual professional background effectively.

It is not intended to fabricate professional experience.

You must not knowingly use Applai to submit materially false information concerning:

• your identity
• employment history
• education
• qualifications
• certifications
• skills
• work authorization
• achievements

6. AI-Generated Content

Applai uses artificial intelligence to generate, rewrite, analyze, organize, or suggest content.

AI-generated content can contain:

• errors
• omissions
• inappropriate suggestions
• inaccurate interpretations

You are responsible for reviewing generated content before using or submitting it.

Applai does not guarantee that:

• generated content is error-free
• a particular Applicant Tracking System will accept or rank a resume in a certain way
• an employer will review your application
• a job match reflects the employer's own assessment
• you will receive an interview
• you will receive an offer
• you will obtain employment

7. Resume Tailoring

Applai may adapt application materials to a particular job.

This may include changing:

• emphasis
• ordering
• wording
• formatting
• the selection of relevant experiences

The objective is to communicate your existing experience more clearly.

You are responsible for ensuring that any final document accurately represents your background.

8. Auto Apply and Automated Actions

Applai may provide features that automate or assist with parts of a job application.

Auto Apply is currently identified as a Beta feature.

These features may not work with every:

• employer
• application form
• Applicant Tracking System
• recruitment website

Third-party websites may also change without notice.

When you instruct Applai to assist with an application, you authorize the service to use information you have supplied for that requested application workflow.

You remain responsible for:

• deciding which jobs to apply for
• keeping your information accurate
• reviewing important application information
• ensuring you are eligible to apply
• complying with relevant third-party rules
• ensuring submitted information is truthful

We may disable automation for a particular service or website if technical, security, legal, or contractual considerations make continued support inappropriate.

9. Third-Party Jobs and Services

Applai is an independent service.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Applai is not affiliated with or endorsed by:

• employers shown within Applai
• job boards
• recruitment websites
• Applicant Tracking System providers

Job information may originate from third-party sources.

Job descriptions, availability, requirements, and application status can change.

You should verify important information directly with the relevant employer where necessary.

10. Acceptable Use

You must not use Applai to:

• impersonate another person
• commit fraud
• knowingly submit materially false career information
• compromise another user's account
• bypass security controls
• attack or interfere with Applai infrastructure
• distribute malware
• perform abusive automated activity
• violate applicable law
• violate third-party rights

We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in serious abuse, fraud, security threats, or unlawful activity.

11. Paid Services and Stripe

Some Applai functionality may require payment.

Applai currently offers recurring subscription plans with usage credits. Before purchasing, Applai or the relevant Stripe checkout interface will show the applicable commercial information, which may include:

• price
• currency
• billing interval
• included usage
• subscription status
• renewal information

Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout or the Stripe pricing interface made available by Applai.

Applai does not store complete payment-card details.

Billing and cancellation are handled through the existing Stripe Customer Portal made available from the user's Applai account.

Users should use that Stripe-hosted billing interface to manage or cancel an active subscription where applicable.

The billing state and effective cancellation behavior shown in the Stripe interface for the user's subscription should be treated as the authoritative billing information for that subscription.

12. Intellectual Property

Applai's:

• software
• interface
• design
• branding
• original website content
• underlying product technology

are owned by or licensed to Mirai Engineering OÜ and protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Applai to the user.

13. Your Content

You retain ownership of the original information and content you provide to Applai.

You give Mirai Engineering permission to:

• store
• process
• transform
• transmit

that content only as reasonably necessary to provide and operate Applai.

14. Generated Application Materials

Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, users may use application materials generated by Applai for their own job-search and professional purposes.

Users remain responsible for checking their accuracy before submission.

15. Availability and Beta Features

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Applai may occasionally be affected by:

• maintenance
• third-party outages
• infrastructure failures
• software defects
• security incidents
• changes to external websites

Features identified as Beta may:

• change
• contain errors
• behave unexpectedly
• become temporarily unavailable
• be discontinued

16. Changes to Applai

We may add, modify, or discontinue functionality as the product develops.

Where appropriate, material changes affecting paid functionality may be communicated to users.

17. Suspension and Termination

Users may stop using Applai at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

• serious violation of these Terms
• fraud
• abuse
• security risks
• unlawful activity
• non-payment
• threats to Applai or third-party infrastructure

18. Employment Disclaimer

Applai is a job-search assistance product.

Hiring decisions are made by employers and other third parties.

Recruitment outcomes can depend on many factors outside Applai's control.

Applai does not guarantee:

• interviews
• offers
• employment
• particular recruitment outcomes

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mirai Engineering OÜ is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses resulting from use of Applai, including decisions made by third-party employers.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Privacy

Use of personal information is governed by the Applai Privacy Policy.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Applai develops.

The effective date shown at the top of this page will identify the current version.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, subject to mandatory rights that may apply to users under applicable law.
